I suggest MIT.

Why? I prefer Apache 2.0 it gives more legal certainty.

@schleichardt because MIT is the lowest and most liberal common denominator across eosystems and because helloworld code is like "we really don't care what you do with this, just don't sue us" (MIT/BSD) and not so much like "this is a valuable piece of software of which I assure you in Detail that you can change it and use it commercially and/or free as long as you keep this license attached to it" (Apache 2)
