@12rambau I didn't know much about project.toml before you mentioned it, but now I know a bit more and I agree with you.
The project.toml PEP is quite a few yeras in the past, so I assume this will not cause many backward compatibility issues for users (say someone installing the newest version of this extension with python 3.8 and pip 19). Do you know?
