@joeced I got an email from someone wondering how they should cite sphinx-contrib MATLAB-domain. I added a Zenodo webhook to automatically archive the latest version and create a new DOI every time a release is created. This PR adds the DOI badge DOI from Zenodo that will always link to the latest version on Zenodo. This PR also adds a CITATION.bib file with the latest Zenodo BibTex citation. GitHub will automatically display this info in a citation link on the right side next to licensing and other repo metadata on the main repo overview page. Does this work for you? I sent the catch-all Zenodo link to the emailer Alberto Cuadra Lara acuadra@ing.uc3m.es.
