Is there someone giving this repository some maintaining love ?

I think this would certainly be useful to others - Jupyter Book has gotten many requests for local video support as well:

I'm not sure what the sphinx-contrib policies are around maintainer access, but it seems like it'd be a good idea to broaden access to this one just to keep it up to date at least.
