Thanks for your information. It seems that this package has not supported all popular platforms (such as macOS) yet. I trending to optional depend on it.

macOS with Intel processors should work; however I don't have a machine to test it.

macOS with ARM processors will only work via Rosetta emulation, since we do not yet provide such binaries upstream. In that case, Homebrew or MacPorts will indeed work better for now.

I will use this wheel in 2.x version.
