Looks good, i have a few comments (most of them are more enhancements I think):
Lets remove working-builds.sh for now or make it general enough that we can use it across machines.
When you compile/clean a project, it currently outputs everything to the console, do we maybe want to write it all to log files?
When merged we need to create an issue to implement the gradle version of this as well.
When running compile it makes use of the jdk defined in the pom file, however, sometimes hasn't been updated in a long time, as a result it will fail (For example Joda-time targets jdk 1.5) Do we want to make it possible to pass which jdk we want to target to overwrite the given jdk?
