Maybe a waterfall mesh system inside of the water mesh generator that builds a different mesh, similar to how the water mesh is built in the painted water area, but follows the hole splatshape geometry to flow down in stead of horizontal? I had talked with @spimort about water zones and underwater screen shading at some point I think, but never really made a feature request since I feel like certain things are up to the developer using terrabrush to implement, but having more water effects like this might be good if enough are available.
Making a waterfall system for TerraBrush would be super cool! But I think it would be hard to make it fit with all the game styles.
Let's say you want to have "splashes" where the water reaches the bottom. Maybe some games will have particles. Maybe some won't have splashes at all, etc.
Idk, maybe for now it would be easier if every project handles it the way they want?
It's still a good suggestion, and maybe we'll find a way to make it work for all projects, but it requires some thinking.
Some may want water on top of their holes, but some like me, may like their water to fall through the holes to create a water fall into the abyss. Well maybe not all the way through, but at least fade into the hole. At least an option for water to not float on top of the holes 🤔 😄
