ghost commented 9 years ago

I dont know if it is possible but it would also be cool to have the indicators (such as taskbar) on both screens.

Clock would be nice to have on 2nd monitor.

michalfita commented 8 years ago

I would like to have flexibility where to have them and whether they should be doubled.

Time and date would be really nice to have on 2nd monitor.

ChrisCheney commented 7 years ago

I have an open BZ about this issue, more or less, with gnome-shell and Florian thinks they would need to implement a proper top bar in gnome-shell itself to be able to allow extensions in general to be on whichever, or all, screens in a multi monitor setup. More users mentioning they would like this might help, so far it appears I may be the only one that has requested this via BZ in the 6+ years of gnome-shell.

NB: Adding this comment to extension issues where this is applicable.

+1 from me as well. Now, I am not able to open calendar from other than default panels.

@spin83 You are using incorrect style for the clock (https://github.com/spin83/multi-monitors-add-on/blob/master/multi-monitors-add-on%40spin83/mmpanel.js#L363), with Arc theme it makes the clock blue, when it should be white.

spin83 commented 7 years ago

The style for the clock is the same as in original DateMenuButton from gnome-shell.

harry-cpp commented 7 years ago

Without "clock-display" style, the button acts correctly, with it, it looks incorrect. Just removing the applying of that style fixed the extension for me (deleted the line https://github.com/spin83/multi-monitors-add-on/blob/master/multi-monitors-add-on%40spin83/mmcalendar.js#L287).

+1 on this, also want to see keyboard layout switcher on both monitors

GrayedFox commented 5 years ago

The clock now shows on both of my monitors (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS) however app indicators from programs like Slack, and the wifi, language switcher, volume, and battery charge do not.

Any advice on how to get these to appear (if this is a config problem) is very welcome! They do not appear in the "list of indicators to transfer to additional monitors" (the clipboard extension does, noice)
