Large (~1gb+) repos take a while to load in Browse mode #3

On bigger repos (~1GB) [tested with the Linux Kernel] the browse mode takes a few seconds to load, and - depending on computer power - can cause a beach ball until the repo is finished loading.

Should be better in "Changed Files Mode". But other improvements could still be made, so keeping this open for now.

Closing this for now. Re-address this in the next version after moving core to libgit.

If this is still an issue in the next version - will re-open.
