Meh, this is not the way to do this, for Windows anyway. I need a package in one of the package managers: Msys2 Pacman or vcpkg. I guess the first step is to fix Guile on MinGW.
The MacOS failure is interesting and likely demonstrates a real memory bug. But I have no MacOS to test with.
