Update Template #6

Upon selecting resources to update - selecting 'change template' brings up a dialog which allows one to choose the template to change to.

Clicking 'save' generates this error: "Please select some Resources to perform that action on."

My answer - "But, I did!"

What's your browser and OS?

(All Mac) Safari 5 / FF 3.6.8 / Chrome 6.0 dev.

I cant replicate that at all; try clearing your browser cache. Also, can you detail specifically what you're doing?

No problem.... in excruciating detail:

-- Update: I've tried it again in safari, and couldn't reproduce the error, but in FF things progress as outlined below. Sorry for misquoting Safari. (Not sure about Chrome) --

  1. (on Homepage) Components Menu [Batcher]
  2. Select several documents - some already having the desired template, some not.
  3. Click Bulk Actions button - select [Change Template]
  4. (dialog appears - with only drop-down box) [Selected Template] In my case old_template.
  5. [Save] Clicked.
  6. "Please Wait" dialog displaywd w/progress bar
  7. "Error" Dialog - "Please select some Resources to perform that action on.
  8. "OK" Button clicked.
  9. "Sigh" uttered...
