I have enabled Internal Idle Detection in launcher settings and set it to 5 mins and I have set the action to screensaver, and its forcing all video apps to start screensaver after 5 mins even if 5he video is playing on screen if the setting is disabled in launcher the Android system setting has been set to 5 mins to start the screensaver but the screensaver is not showing up

That's not too helpful, though. In that reddit post the recommendation is just to turn off Projectivy's idle detection. Duh. We need this repaired, so the idle detection does not kick off the screensaver while media is playing.

Any update on this? It was working up until a few weeks ago. When it is disabled, the screensaver never starts. When it is enabled, the screensaver starts, but it also starts during media playback.

After some testing, this is the setting that was preventing the screensaver from starting: "Prevent system automatic shutdown when idle". It should be off if you want the screensaver to activate, and the Android screensaver still activates with internal idle detection off. Sorry, this doesn't help the internal idle bug during playback, but it helps my use case so maybe it will help others.
