I am using media providers (the Stremio app) as my default category/channel row on the launcher.
My cards are configured to be rounded.
When I restart my TV, the launcher shows super ugly square, gray icons without rounded corners, until the content logos have loaded. It basically looks so unprofessional.
Then when they load, the rounded corners and nice images finally appear.
Let's try to emulate what the official Google TV app does instead? When their data is not loaded yet: Show veeeery transparent, rounded rectangles with some gently animated glow/shine background that indicates it's loading. :) Then fade in the real logo when the cover art becomes available.
