Where is Novelist? #43

One thing I didn’t see on the new catalog was the Novelist information integrated. I was talking to the Ebsco rep today, and he said to contact their support staff if we needed any assistance to get that to work.

are you seeing this problem only on downloads? seems like it works for books.

I guess I didn’t realize the series information was under Related Reading. Can we rename that to Reviews/Books in This Series? Dana

Should we pull series info into the sidebar?

It’s one of the most useful tools we look at. People are always asking what comes next in a series. I think there used to be an easier way to search our catalog for these titles when listed (you would click on the title, I think), but somewhere along the way this option seems to have been lost. I’ll try to look around in Ebsco back end to see if anything can be corrected. Dana

It is maybe not quite a simple as renaming to Books in Series because there are other things in there, and many titles aren't part of a series. It might be possible to detect whether there is a more in series section and dynamically rename the accordion title.

Would it solve the problem to pull this series info in to the sidebar, with similar titles, etc. or maybe pull it out of the collapsible accordion under the title details, if we can do that?
