Can you confirm that MySQL is installed, and if it is, if the test database
exists?

After created test database manually, it still reported as
failed.root@localhost is able to login successfully without password.

I had this same problem also on RHEL6. I was able to install DBD::mysql
without testing (cpanm -n DBD::mysql) and then proceed with the install scripts
with no noticeable problems

thanks a lot,it works but still another error coming out.
"FAIL Installing the dependencies failed: Module 'Sys::Info::Driver::OSX' is
not installed"

It seems like the Sys::Info::Driver:OSX failed due to unsupported OS.. In fact,
i'm using Ubuntu 10-04. any idea??
