Glad you're using the model!
Yes, you can update your profile anytime without approval.
Good luck!
I finished my profile and it got approved today. 🎉

@calebporzio it draws heavily from yours, but I included a thank you mentioning you at the end, I hope that's ok with you.
One of the issues I'm facing now is that my software isn't quite ready, but I need to get some wave rolling, I need to tell people about this and start promoting the idea.
I guess I will just edit my profile and explain that the actual software will be coming out in July...
I could turn off the tiers so that people don't start sponsoring too soon, but I feel that the tiers are part of explaining this whole thing in a way that people can understand it.
Another thing that I am hesitant about is putting up an actual metric that decides when the SponsorWare gets donated into the Core product as open-source. I have no idea if I will be getting 2 sponsors, or 20, or 200. If I say I donate after 75 sponsors, that might never happen. Or it might happen quickly and I am left with no software to attract sponsors....
Thoughts?
hello guys i disable my sponser ship and now my account is not in my sponser accounts i want know i sit a way to re approved my account again in docs say go to your profile and then go to sponser navbar and then click dashbord but i dont see that can someone guid me throw how i cant get approved my account again

But you can contact Github support, they will answer your questions. Just go to the Docs pages, for example this one (since it is related):
scroll down to the bottom and click "contact support".
Hi guys. Thanks for this initiative!
I am about to attempt going "SponsorWare". I have been looking at (and basically copying, I hope it's ok) @calebporzio 's sponsorship page.
I signed up for Github's sponsor programme and I just got my sign-up approved 🎉
I'm starting to explore their dashboard and I see I also need to get my Profile text approved. My question is: they surely allow later updates? How does that work, does it always require human approval? I don't think I'll get it right at first, and anyway the text needs to change as the process evolves.
In the same line - any advice for these initial stages? I predict a slow start, it's going to be really hard winning over sponsorships. I am still developing my first valuable SponsorWare (it's an add-on for SuiteCRM). I wish I could start building up some expectation, and some momentum, without defrauding anyone: if they sponsor too early I won't have much to give them...
