This is just a question.

How well does the GPS work?, I noticed you are using a passive antenna, is it enough?

Hi,

Im using a very small patch antenna. It did not work indoors, but when I went outside it worked just fine.

Note though that the update rate is one second, so it's not really suited for navigation during flight. Can I ask what you are working on?

I'm just testing the module, if I ever use it, it would be for a tracker. It seems like the update rate can be changed through proprietary commands ($PMTK500).

Have you noticed that this module reports speed different than zero when it is stationary?, seems like it calculate speed using derivatives of position.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip about the update rate - I'll try that. I haven't looked at the speed yet unfortunately.
