Was talking with some friends about this today, and noticed how few bosses actually have mats. Here's a couple quick ones based on other sprites. Blind via Helma, Moth via Aga2, Khold via Vitty.

Armos Knights, shield design from the boss w/ some numerical weight.
All of these are just suggestions/drafts. They're in .png format so they should come out with just the colors I put in, which are just the ones from the originals. In this way, I think they should convert nicely into whatever format for the ROM.

LW bosses recolored to match their floor mats and my own picks for the DW adds.
These are awesome! I'd love to see these included, especially when Boss Shuffle is on, having the correct rugs would be a great touch
I like the Armos helmet the best.
Glad you like them! And yeah, the helmet is probably easier to parse at a glance than the shield.
Going to close this as it's a mix of rom code and enemizer boss shuffle. When we do further work to get boss shuffle direct support in main rom, we'll see if we can implement something like this as well.
Most bosses have custom rugs. It could be nice to have the appropriate rug outside the boss door or boss area, prior to dropping in on the boss and having the door lock on you and realize that you have no way to harm the boss because you don't have the proper equipment.
The following has the generic ones for Armos, Lanmo & Moldy. Aga1, Helma, Arrghus, Vitty, Trinexx & Aga2 have their own rugs.
Moth, Blind & Kholdy don't have rugs made since their places don't really lend well to having a spot for one either. The GT refights also don't have dedicated spots. Here are some ideas for those:
