FYI: This plugin works with Mattermost, too. Tested with Mattermost version: 5.20.1, Graylog 3.2.2.

I have graylog running in version Graylog 3.2.0-beta.4-SNAPSHOT, and this plugin does not work. You were able to run it without any problem in your setup?
