LookupError: No results found for song [...] for all but one tracks of an album

Expected Behavior vs Actual Behavior

spotdl works well, but for a particular album I can download only one of its 16 songs. All 15 other songs give an error like LookupError: No results found for song: Antony Partos - Legacy

I would expect to be able to download every song of this album. Steps to reproduce - Ensure to include actual links!

1. install newest version of spotdl (v4.0.5) on MacOS Ventura
2. % spotdl download 'https://open.spotify.com/album/6jHtR7TjFvVGCpRipUn8gz'
3. try variants such as downloading just the one song 'Antony Partos - Legacy'

This is regardless if I download individual songs or the entire album (Album URL: 'https://open.spotify.com/album/6jHtR7TjFvVGCpRipUn8gz').

Same behaviour if I include the SI, e.g. spotdl download 'https://open.spotify.com/album/6jHtR7TjFvVGCpRipUn8gz?si=ff_UJPjaT_W....'

Looks like only the last song is available on youtube, nothing I can do.

Thanks for responding. Actually I wasn't aware that a track needs to be available on youtube in order to be eligible for download from spotify.

Maybe the error message could be a little more indicative of the root cause?

The message I received, "LookupError: No results found for song X", had set me off to check my network setup, Python installation etc

Tracks aren't downlaod from spotify, they've always been downloaded from youtube.

Yeah, I had seen that it says "...we use YT to filter search results. You can check if YTM is available in your country".

Since YT music exists in Germany, though, I didn't imagine this meant to say that the actual track had to be available on YTM in my country.

Hence my suggestion to consider a more indicative messaging — I could imagine a requirements text like "Each track must be available on YouTube Music in your country" and an error message like "LookupError: Song not found on YouTube Music".
