Under Prerequisites, its says "A running instance of Spotfire" but this is an incredibly vague statement. Do you mean Spotfire Analyst client software installed on a Windows PC or do you mean a Spotfire server? It is not really accurate to say that any Spotfire version is required. The tutorial is focused on Spotfire Mods, a feature introduced in Spotfire 11. I really don't believe I will have success if I try the demo with my current Spotfire Analyst 10.10.3 client.

Hi @KenACollins, Thank you for bringing this omission up. I think we can link back to the full list of prerequisites from the tutorial to make this more clear.

The full list of prerequisites is listed in the general getting started article, which is the promoted starting point on the website. I hope most people reads it before starting the tutorial.

The supported Spotfire versions are also listed directly on the home page of the GitHub repository.
