FLIP-212 Considerations #261

Since Flink will be creating an official operator, will this operator still be maintained or will it be deprioritised in favour of contributing to the official Flink Kubernetes operator?

Hi, @hjwalt Thanks for raising this!

As it stands right now, we do not intend to deprioritize work here; we will keep pushing improvements, bug fixes, and adding support for things that we are clearly missing.
