5 years ago I reread the developer terms and if I understood correctly, my app use is not restricted by your terms:

"Streaming. “Streaming” means using the Spotify Platform to enable playback of sound recordings available through the Spotify Service. Please note that the use of (i) Widgets (ii) Audio Preview Clips or (iii) the Spotify Platform to control a background Spotify Application, are not included in the definition of Streaming for purposes of these Developer Terms."

"2.Commercial Use Restrictions: Unless you receive Spotify’s written approval, the following are the only commercial uses of Non-Streaming SDAs permitted under these Developer Terms: ii. sale of, or sale of access to, a Non-Streaming SDA..."

My app uses remote connection to Spotify app and does not directly access Spotify API so it is actually categorized as non-streaming. 2.Sale of access to my app is not restricted, I don't get additional fees from users that access Spotify through my app.
No one answered me on the original issue since September, I'm not a lawyer...just a developer who wants to improve his product and add a nice & requested feature :-)
Please let me know if I didn't understood correctly.

Hi,
Following issue #20.
I've sent an application to my app 4-5 months ago, still didn't receive any answer :-( I'm almost ready with a beta version which includes Spotify remote api implementation. I can add screenshots, an actual beta version download link or any other information to the application if needed and can help the process...only I don't know if & where I should do this. Can you please help me with this issue?
