Integrating Spotify into Website #1243

Hi, I know about the follow artist buttons for websites but I wondered if it was possible to add a like or share song button. Even a follow playlist button. I've been a website developer for 20 years, mostly WordPress, but trying to learn how to use Spotify developers codes with my websites is something I simply can't figure out. I have been reading docs for the Spotify developers website for months and understand what most of it means but intergrading the codes in the website is beyond me.

Any advice would be helpful. The Music studio I work wants new band websites that have more Spotify in them. Plus they want me how to figure out how to get them better analytics. Yes, I use Spotify artists and analytics.

Mostly I need to learn if it is possible to add more buttons to the websites or my embed options beyond what's offered on the app.

Thank you for your time Kim

As far as I know there aren't many built-in buttons in Spotify API but you can always implement them yourself by authenticating users via User Authorization and then sending the related requests to Spotify Web API using users' access tokens.

For example to make users a playlist, you can use Follow a Playlist endpoint.
