Commercial Integration Application #94

Hello! I would like to use the Web Playback SDK in a commercial website. This states I need Spotify's written approval. How do I get that? Thanks!

I think the official way is to create and application in their developer dashboard, there you can check a box saying it will be a commercial application.

They should eventually contact you but for me it has been 6 months without contact and no idea how to get more information about the process.

Would be amazing to have some email address or something? ;)

I've been toying with the idea of using Spotify playback as part of a Twitch stream AFTER getting permission from music artists themselves for that purpose. The benefit is that I could give visual credit to the artists when music starts in the video stream. Cool!

However, Twitch streams are commercial in nature. That creates a challenge after reading guidelines and terms of use on Spotify. I can only imagine that Spotify is completely overwhelmed with commercial requests with no permission granting fairy on staff...
