Add support for importing Inkscape SVGs #87

I do a lot of work on my desktop in Inkscape and would love to be able to import some of my projects onto my iPad. It would be really handy for when I am on the road. I have been very impressed so far with Inkpad, but with no way to go directly back and forth with my main tools, I can't use it on any of my larger projects.

I used Inkscape with Inkpad and it seems to work for me. I wonder what incompatibilities you are encountering?

Tsubashi commented 10 years ago

I can import it into inkpad if I first export it from Inkscape as a "plain svg" file, but that rearranges some of the nodes, and keeping track of which files are plain and which files are Inkscape is a pain.

Huh. I wonder what inkscape features/implementation cause the problem? If you have the time to experiment, you could make a file... and one by one remove styling, fancy stuff, patterns?, until finally it loads okay? (process of elimination) Just an idea. as I mentioned it works well for me, though I've had the page sizechange on me once.
