Two missing things:

no mention anywhere of the jsonFormat(Foo, "field1", "field2") methods that allow easy customization of field names (https://groups.google.com/d/topic/spray-user/H0Hr6_ZOkK0/discussion)
No advanced examples of custom formats (https://groups.google.com/d/topic/spray-user/fSxsgzUSros/discussion)
