Tapestry still does not know how to handle HTML5 DOCTYPE and entities together. A patch has supplied to Tapestry committers and it is still waiting for approval.

As soon as this is fixed, we should stop to find workarounds and begin to fully use HTML5 and entities.

It seems that the patch will not be applied as soon as I thought because the Stax parser is being recoded from scratch.

Maybe we should postpone this evolution for 1.0.
