This will make people working on the latest version of spree say that it doesn't work and it should be without the :branch

As @geermc4 points out this will be confusing instructions for people as the branch to use depends on the version of spree your using. If you would like to help clarify which branches should be used by referring to the Versionfile than you may submit a new PR.
