JavaScript error for Mediastealer #12

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. attempting to download any file with mediastealer
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the download begin. Instead, immediately upon highlighting the
desired file for download and clicking DOWNLOAD to begin a download I get the
following popup error message:
[JavaScript Application]
onDownload:
NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED: Component returned failure
code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)
[nslDownloadManager.addDownload]

with only an OK button to press.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I have no idea what started this as I don't recall any system or browser
changes when this started occurring. Mediastealer worked perfect now it works
ZERO.
Using OS X 10.9.1
Firefox 26.0
I DID just update both above, AND I uninstalled/reinstalled Mediastealer but it
didn't work any differently after the updates than it did since the error
messages had been occurring.

Please provide any additional information below.
please tell me what I need to do to fix this problem! I'm desperate to have my
Mediastealer back in working order again.
thank you so much for a speedy reply!

please cc your response to danielletblue@gmail.com as I rarely check the

There is some progress on the project. You can download the beta here:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-qEVzVqhyRFX05lNzlHakxob2M&usp=sharing
(or use the attached file in this message) Mind you, it can contain bugs. If
bug is found, please report back. The abort button doesn't work.
