2D platformer game with an enemy projectile using a nav-mesh technique to seek and destroy. @pk-verma
2D/3D game with enemies constantly improving behaviour and adapting the player's inputs and gameplay tactics. @sprince0031

The idea that was pitched is a game set in the world of "A Quiet Place". Key points/features about the game:

Survival horror game.
Aliens without sight but heightened hearing on the prowl.
Player will have desires for survival i.e, foraging for food, self defense/offense, looking for shelter, etc.
If aliens know of previous human activity, they will expand area of prowl to last known area of contact.
- Gav suggested that a hot-map be used where the latest known activity will have a higher value which decays over time.
Set in a wooded area like in the movie.
Interactable environments and objects that make noise strewn about throughout the game world.

Have a dependent deaf child along with the main character.
Opening sequence could show aliens breaking into their farmhouse and their dog being slaughtered and that interaction making the player intuitively understand that the aliens operate with their hearing and not sight.
The scene outside is all their farm animals have been massacred and half eaten.
They need to get away and find new shelter.
