UUID
is mapped to timeuuid
when generating tables. You can however annotate your column with @CassandraType(type = DataType.Name.UUID)
to enforce a specific data type. The documentation contains the type mapping.
This assignment is in place for quite a while so we won't change it for Spring Data Cassandra 1.x but we should switch to a better default with
