Transient properties aren't supported in a constructor as there's no way to know how to materialize the value. The only way this could work is by annotating a constructor argument with @Value
(note: AtValue support is not yet in place, see DATAJDBC-508)

I wanted to use the annotation transient to exclude a field from what is saved/read from dB.
I'm using spring boot 2.3.1 with jdbc starter. Not certain that it's relevant but i'm also using project lombok.
When using the transient keyword, It seems to have no effect, I see the same error message as if the field was missing from db's table.
When using the annotation (org.springframework.data.annotation.Transient), i have the following stacktrace:
idToken is the name of the field that i'm trying to make transient in regards of spring data jdbc
