Exception on the first app request #13

I'm using Spring Boot 2.0.0.M5 and spring-session-data-mongodb 2.0.0.M4, trying to add session persistence through @EnableMongoHttpSession on my main application class. At the very first request this exception is thrown:

Anyone knows what cause this?

Have you added spring-boot-starter-data-mongodb-reactive to your project?

If this bears out as the problem, the exception message could be a little better to help you figure that out on your own.

My mistake. You said HttpSession, not WebSession. Do you have spring-boot-starter-data-MongoDB?

Yep, I have spring-boot-starter-data-mongodb, the project uses MongoDB already as the storage layer.

This is the whole exception:

A cursory scan of the code implies that if the session object stored in MongoDB is missing a "maxInternal" setting, it would generate a NullPointerException in trying to parse it.

Duration.parse(maxInterval.toString())

Given this is Java 8, it should, in fact have a fallback value.

You can test out by setting spring-session-data-mongodb.version to 2.0.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT in your build, and adding snapshots (see http://projects.spring.io/spring-session-data-mongodb/).

It was the first time I ran the application with session persistence, so there where nothing in the database.

Checked that again, there was a session persisted, should be from one of my previous tests. Deleted that and the error changed, from a object class that is on the session that is not Serializable. I can work on that!
