Apologies for the disorderly PR, but the commits should be fairly accurate. These changes are mostly concerned about JWT VPs.
The potentially controversial changes are:
137ff9db962325d134f8f9346b7a5fe0f986c665, allowing for non-URI IDs (e.g. plain UUIDs) which is required for Microsoft VCs/VPs; and
0a54fec265341a086b1bf6f641e1e1ddb8cc17b2, change to Box for the DIDMethods traits as it's tricky to use otherwise, but I don't think it's the best solution.
