Ubuntu 14.04 Invalid Package Error #131

When attempting to install using the deb on Ubuntu 14.04 you are presented with an error message stating that the package is in bad form and asks whether you want to attempt to continue or not. A new package should really be built for this. Is there a ppa that exists? If not it should be considered to help with the packaging for the different versions especially for those using the active development version.

This is fixed in 2.0 with our new packaging system.
