Install through Software Center

Also have the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit - springseed_1.1.0_amd64.deb

Is it a good idea to ignore and install anyway?

Well I installed it and it seemed to work fine until I signed on to Dropbox. Give it a shot!

Same error when installing springseed_1.1.0_amd64.deb on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit.

This is the first occurrence of this error for me. However, previous versions I've downloaded simply failed to install entirely with no error prompt:

springseed_1.0.0_amd64.deb springseed_1.0.2_amd64.deb

I'd love to try Springseed, but as of yet I have not been able to install it on my system.
