Line length dead #18188

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

The line showing maximum line length is incorrectly placed at 80 characters instead of what I set (100) I clicked the down button on the maximum allowed line length and got this screen!!!

Hi @squishysdomain,

Can you please update to the latest release of Spyder 5.3.1 and see if the error persists?
