Closed Seanjf closed 2 years ago

Seanjf commented 2 years ago

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Spyder will not run from the editor due to internal error (details below), but will run in the console. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 11 and I am running Spyder under Anaconda 3. I have reinstalled it several times and used CCleaner to clean the computer and registry. doctorfennell@yahoo.com

Thanks for reporting. This error is already fixed in our latest version.

Since it's still not available in Anaconda, you have two options:

1. Use our Windows or Mac installer, which you can find here.

2. Create a new environment with conda-forge packages. For that, please close Spyder, open the Anaconda Prompt and run the following commands there:

conda create -n spyder-cf -c conda-forge spyder jupyter_client=7.3.1
conda activate spyder-cf
spyder
