Hi @andrew521 thank you for the feedback! Could some of the elements mentioned at the Spyder FAQ page entry to work with WSL2 help here? https://docs.spyder-ide.org/current/faq.html?highlight=run%20cell#install-wsl2

Also, what version of Spyder are you using?

Let us know if the entry in the FAQ page helps!

andrew521 commented 2 years ago

Thank you for replying dalthviz. I was aware of the FAQ and it does not help. Regarding the Spyder version, it is 5.2.2.

Checking a little bit more, regarding the variable snot showing, maybe that is related with https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/issues/19548 ?

Could you check @andrew521 if some of the comments there help? Let us know!

I will. There is also the issue of the breakpoints not working. CTRL-F12 never stops on the next breakpoint.

Breakpoints still not working. Can you guys look into this? TIA

Spyder IDE 5.3.3 Python 3.10.8 64-bit | Qt 5.15.2 | PyQt5 5.15.7 | Windows 10

@andrew521, I think that will be fixed in Spyder 6, to be released next year.
