Icon pack 3 cant load - blocked fonts #21549

G'day,

Im looking for some help to get the Icon pack 3 working for Spyder.

I have started with a fresh install of Anaconda3 (64 bit) but spyder defaults to Icon Pack 2 and isnt able to load Icon Pack 3.

I believe this is related to a company policy blocking fonts, as i see this error message

Unfortunately I cannot modify the registry and have limited privileges. Is there another alternative way to see the icons?

Hi @SJUW thank you for the feedback and sorry for the late response! I'm afraid there is no other way to check the icons other than installing the font. Also, although this is related with QtAwesome, since this is related also with Spyder I will move the issue to the Spyder repo. Pinging @ccordoba12 just in case

It depends on your Windows version. If your not using Windows 10 or 11, then this is not going to work, sorry.
