Actually, I found my way to the Edit button for the body of the issue (before I only noticed the Edit button for the subject line). The non-public detail has been replaced by an anonymized place-holder, so I guess no need to delete the issue. However, I would be interested in how to delete issues. A web search indicates that there should be a delete option under the Notification area, but I don't see one. It may be for the GitHub version of "superusers".

Ok, that's really good.

I think there's no way to delete issues on Github. I mean, I don't see any way to do it even if I am one of the admins of this repo.

Problem Description
I used the Spyder IDE to submit an issue. I never got a chance to vet the information. As it turns out, it contains details that I do not want on the internet (and don't need to be). I want to delete the issue and submit it from outside of the Spyder GUI.
What steps reproduce the problem?
