Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

When I try to inspect a df, Spyder says me it is unable to retrieve the variable. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it without any further updates: I get the same troubleshoot. Could you help me, pls? Thx.

Python 3.8 reached end of life this month Python Developer Guide Versions. Python 3.8 support has already been dropped for recent versions of pandas Pandas: Python Version Support.

You should consider moving onto a supported Python version such as 3.11 or 3.12 if possible. There is an updated Spyder installer Spyder Releases 6.0.1 that has a more recent version of Python 3.11.9, numpy 2.1.1, pandas 2.2.3 and matplotlib 3.9.2.
