Unexpected problem #22798

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Started Spyder, got a pop-up window that notified me that a new version of Spyder is available, and would I like to install it now. When I clicked "No", I got this error.

Hey @sitadrost, thanks for reporting. This problem is fixed in our latest version (6.0.2). Please update by closing Spyder, opening the Miniforge Prompt and running there

conda activate data
conda install spyder=6.0.2
