Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Luanch Spyder Wait for update dialog to appear Click the Yes to update Spyder using Spyder's internal option Then Issue Reported pops up immediately.

Thanks for reporting. You need to manually update Spyder to fix this problem.

To do that, please close Spyder, open the Anaconda Prompt (on Windows) or a terminal (on macOS or Linux) and run there

conda install spyder=6
