Add animation to selected items on plots pane #9369

On preparing some lectures it occurred to me that we could add an animate feature to the plots viewer, by allowing multiple selection of items on the right panel and then have an animate or create animation button.

Of course having the up/down arrow moving between images would achieve the same effect, but then we could also export this animation
