The .yaml extension isn't picked up by Renovate, so release.yaml's action dependencies aren't getting updates.

I also took the opportunity to fix:
.editorconfig
.properties
gradle.properties

.editorconfig, because otherwise the IDE wound up reformatting the whole file.propertiesfiles, because the previous value made the IDE remove all blank lines fromgradle.properties
