AssertionError: Unknown state SAVING on RealActivityScope.register() [mortar:0.16] #192

Before anything else, I want to apologize for posting this here because I don't know where else to post this. This error occurs for an older version of mortar. I tried to search for solutions, but there are none. Is there any way to avoid this error without updating the mortar version? Thanks.
