landfill can't be placed over any kind of track, not just water ways #103

landfill can't be placed over track that can be placed on water, not just water ways. Such as the beautiful bridge railway mod.

How big an issue is this? Wouldn't you want to replace the bridges with normal rails anyways? The landfill exclusion system is a little complicated, and does check for any collision with train-layer, so I'm hesitant to change it.

It's a big issue if you're in a ship - because you can't get out onto water.

Even with the Shift-Enter command?

I'm not sure - I used the option to connect shipping ways to regular track then drove the boat over land to get out. At the time though I tried to use landfil, but couldn't put it under the shipping lanes or my bridge track from the beautiful bridge railways mod.

Turns out, if you had gotten into the body of the ship instead of the engine, the shift-enter command doesn't work. [Edit: Actually, this only applied to entering the boat, not exiting.] (Pretty sure that code is so old, it was written when you could only ride in locomotives!) I'll fix that. If you get stuck in a boat again I'd like to see the save file!
