Ruby Boulet — Liège, 5th July #17

Drive on the 5th in the afternoon (2PM or so to avoid rush hours yo) and stay in an hotel overnight. @lrz Can you recommend one?

Also I'd be down to leave late on the 6th and do fancy dinner. Maybe even stay one more night so I can visit Liège some more and/or work a co-working space or something.

For hotels it depends on your budget. if you don't care, I highly recommend http://www.crowneplazaliege.be (it's the only 5 stars hotel in town and it's splendid). Otherwise, http://www.jalahotel.com/ and http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-1893-hotel-mercure-liege-centre/index.shtml are cheaper and also well-located.

Would love to help you visit the town, this said, the coworking space is closed the week-end (so if you intend to work saturday or sunday you will have to find another place).

Definitely staying at the Crown Plaza, looks amazing :+1:

So… yeah I didn't realise this was gonna be on the week-end, lol. Not gonna work then. My thinking is that Saturday will probably be painful and won't leave much time to go around and whatnot. Staying an extra night means we could do fancy dinner and have the whole Sunday to visit. Or just do fancy lunch and then visit on Saturday. That'd leave me plenty of time to sober up before driving home in the evening. Dunno. What do you think?

Alright booked Friday night at the Crown Plaza and got a car till Sunday 2PM. @lrz You booking a table for lunch?

@ys Let me know if you want a lift. Wanna leave around 1-2PM to avoid traffic.

Actually we could do lunch of Friday too. Could be there by 12:30.

Lunch on Friday is a safer bet as I'm not sure we will be able to make it on Saturday... We usually end up pretty wasted after a ruby boulet :)

lol yeah that's what I was thinking of staying an extra night. Anyways, count me in for both lunch Friday and Saturday and even maybe dinner on Saturday. Could be because I haven't had lunch yet. FOOOOOODDDDDDD
